I remember leaving this session with such full heart and just that feeling of “this is exactly how I want to document families”. I might be a broken record at this point, but getting to photograph Vancouver families in their home will always be such a huge honour.

When I deliver an album, my hope is that when you come back to these images in 5, 10, 20 plus years, you’ll be transported back to this time in your life. Not only will you relive those early years when your kids were little & fit into your arms, But you’ll feel connected to the space you lived in. Maybe the mess of toys will bring you back, or even your choice of decor or the pictures on the wall. Whatever it might be, I just hope your family photos always bring you back & connect you to these days.

I absolutely loved photographing the Weiss Family in their Vancouver home. We hung out, Dad made soup, we played, read books…..Just did the everyday things that make for the most precious images.
