I could go on and on about how much I LOVE photographing this family! I started working with the Yau Family when they were expecting their second baby, and then I had the pleasure of photographing them after baby Madeleine arrived. The Yau family has come to my mini sessions, and then we set up another session before baby number 3 arrived (and since then I’ve photographed their new family member). All to say, I’ve been photographing this growing Vancouver family for so many years & it’s honestly just such a huge joy to get to capture them year after year as their family grows.

This Vancouver session felt a little extra special as they Invited the kids Grandparents along for the session. I’ve honestly loved that families are bringing grandparents along - It feels so important to document these little special relationships. Looking back at my own family photos, I wish I had more photographs with mine…Although I don’t know if you can ever have enough!

Also, Please note the most epic sunset ever! Stanley Park in Vancouver was definitely showing off on this beautiful Summer evening. Looking through these images is making me feel SO excited for Summer! I can’t wait for less Vancouver rain, and more glowing Vancouver sunsets.
