This was my second time photographing the Mills family (And I’ve been back again since this session….So behind on sharing work).

It is always such a pleasure being invited into their Vancouver home to document their family. With baby number two arriving shortly, it felt so special to photograph them all while they were a family of three.

Maternity sessions like this are my absolute favourite. Just being with families in their space, in their neighborhoods and visiting their favourite spots just holds so much significance. My hope would be that years from now their Daughter Mabel would look back at these images and feel her childhood…that she would feel the love in their family home, the beaches in their backyard & just be transported back there through these images.

Also, I just need to say Centennial beach on a foggy overcast day feels like a literal dream to me! I’m always here for the sunsets, but an overcast day at the beach just feels cinematic to me.
